WHO ARE WE?
We are Red Star Games, a group of BIONICLE fans and talented artists, writers, editors, 3D modelers, GMs, and composers who are dedicated to the expansion of BIONICLE’s rich lore through our multimedia productions. All of the rules documents for our tabletop games are provided to the community for free!
DORONAI NUI
The Doronai Nui is our D20 tabletop game set in the first generation of the BIONICLE story. This system allows you and your team to venture through the vast and dangerous Matoran Universe; seek your destiny or defy it as you find your place in the Great Story of Everything.
BARRANAI NUI
The Barranai Nui is our BIONICLE-themed tabletop wargame. In the wake of the Great Cataclysm, many factions vie for power, resources, and survival itself. Step into a universe consumed by war, and guide your army to victory on the tabletop.
HEROES OF THE STARS
Heroes of the Stars is our rules-lite D12 tabletop game set in the second generation of the BIONICLE story. The once-peaceful island of Okoto has fallen into shadow, and both treasure and terrors abound. Will you set out to save it or plunge it further into the darkness?
LORE
When the first generation of BIONICLE ended, much of its vast universe was left unexplored. We aim to fill those gaps with lore-friendly short stories and long-form setting guides.
FORGE SHOP
The Red Star Forge is on its way towards having the largest catalog of Kanohi masks anywhere on the Internet. Our team of artists and 3D modelers are working hard to make every previously-unseen mask in BIONICLE canon, as well as some new surprises!
CAMPAIGNS
Tune in to the Red Star Games YouTube channel, where our cast will be playing through the aftermath of the Matoran Civil War in our Shadow of the Coliseum TTRPG campaign. Together, we'll dive headfirst into one of the darkest parts of BIONICLE history.
