Doronai Nui

Version 0.13.5, released on 4/1/2026. This update added various parts of the Hero Factory to the Extraplanar Index, as well as further adjusting the Elemental system.
Version 0.13.1, released on 3/8/2028. This small update rectified issues with the character sheet, and also added various rules clarifications.
Version 0.13.0, released on 2/28/2026. This massive update streamlined the Equipment system, introduced the Elemental Cast action, and unified how Machines, NPCs, and Species are built into a single format.
Version 0.12.6, released on 7/17/2025. This update added several Kanohi, including the Olisi, and made adjustments to Machines and other subsystems.
Version 0.12.5, released on 4/1/2025. This update added the non-canon Element of Organics, as well as species from Galidor, to the Extraplanar Index.
Version 0.12.0, released on 1/17/2025. This update added the Mutations Index, more masks, improvements to the Quick Start Guide, and continued adjustments to the Elemental system.
Version 0.11.1, released on 8/11/2024. This smaller update focused on hotfixes and quality-of-life improvements.
Version 0.11.0, released on 7/4/2024. This was one of the largest updates in the Doronai Nui's history. It introduced the Elemental system overhaul, the Extraplanar Index, and much more.
April Fools 2024, released on 4/1/2024. This update added various non-canon species, including Slizers, RoboRiders, and the Seekers of Atui-Awai.
Version 0.10.1, released on 9/10/2023. This update merged Infusion and Cases into the wider Slot system in addition to fixing various bugs.
Version 0.10.0, released on 8/10/2023. This update removed Item Hit Points, added a variety of new Rahi, and more.
Version 0.09.1.2, released on 4/25/2023. This update introduced the shortened Doronai Kofo, Item Puncturing, and the Leraku species, as well as updates to Actions and Fusion.
Elemental Powers: Kinetics and Crystal, released on 4/1/2023. This update added the non-canon Elements of Kinetics and Crystal.
Version 0.09.1.1, released on 1/28/2023. This hotfix addressed various issues and added smaller pieces of new content.
Version 0.09.1, released on 10/31/2022. This update streamlined various aspects of the system and introduced the Quick Start Guide and the Environmental Guide.
Version 0.09.0.3, released on 7/4/2022. This update added four new playable species.
Version 0.09.0.2, released on 4/1/2022. This update added several new Kanohi, merged the Kanohi Index and the Kanohi Nuva Index into one document, and added the semi-canon Element of Acid.
Version 0.09.0.1, released on 11/21/2021. This hotfix addressed various small issues and implemented several balance adjustments.
Version 0.09, released on 7/4/2021. This update significantly overhauled many aspects of the system, now sorted across twelve manuals.

Elemental Power: Sand, Kanohi, and Kanohi Nuva, released on 4/1/2021. This update added the Element of Sand as a playable, albeit semi-canon, option.
Manual Revision: Elemental Powers, Kanohi, and Kanohi Nuva, released on 2/26/2021. This revision added new terminology for Elements and adjusted some values in the Kanohi Index.
Light and Shadow (and Species Manual Rev. 2), released on 2/18/2021. This interstitial update added the Elements of Light and Shadow.
Hotfix: Manuals (Elemental Powers, Species, Kanohi, and Kanohi Nuva), released on 1/19/2021. This hotfix was part of the lead-in for the then-upcoming version 0.09.
Species Manual 1 and Elemental Power Manual, released on 9/26/2020. This update added Matoran and Turaga as playable species, as well as collecting the Elements into one document.
Content Pack: Iron and Magnetism, released on 8/10/2020. This interstitial update added the Elements of Iron and Magnetism.
Content Pack: Toa and Transformations (and the Kanohi/Kanohi Nuva rework) released on 7/4/2020. This interstitial update made significant changes to Kanohi and associated Archetypes.
Content Pack: Equipment, released on 6/30/2020. This interstitial update overhauled Equipment, Engineering Archetypes, and more.
Content Pack: Plasma and Sonics, released on 5/24/2020. This interstitial update added the Elements of Plasma and Sonics.
Content Pack: Supertype Rework Issue 1, released on 4/28/2020. This interstitial update featured updates to healing and the basics of alchemy.
Content Pack: Plantlife and Earth, released on 3/28/2020. This interstitial update added the Element of Plantlife and updates for the Element of Earth.
Content Pack: System Update Issue 1, released on 2/21/2020. This interstitial update features errata and other updates to existing rules.
Content Pack: Psionics and Air, released on 1/9/2020. This interstitial update added the Element of Psionics and updates for the Element of Air.
Content Pack: Archetypes Issue 2, released on 10/25/2019. This interstitial update introduced new Supertypes as well as some errata for existing rules.
Content Pack: Lightning and Water, released on 9/22/2019. This interstitial update added the Element of Lightning and updates for the Element of Water.
Content Pack: Archetypes Issue 1, released on 8/16/2019. This interstitial update added several new Archetypes, including Mad Alchemist, Elemental Smith, and Kromean.
Content Pack: Gravity, released on 7/19/2019. This interstitial update added the Element of Gravity.
Version 0.05.1, released on 7/4/2019. This smaller update was a hotfix for version 0.05.
Version 0.05 (the Crimson Box), released on 4/22/2019. This update added new Archetypes, more Kanohi, and overhauled various aspects of the system.
Version 0.025 (the Red Box), released on 7/19/2018. The very first release of the Doronai Nui system, featuring playable Toa, six Elemental powers, and 42 Kanohi masks. This is where it all started.

Barranai Nui

Version 1.0, released on 5/18/2021. The first release of the Barranai Nui system, featuring nine playable factions.

Heroes of the Stars

Revision 4, released on 8/11/2022. This update added the Upgrade System Expansion Pack and various bugfixes.
Revision 3, released on 12/2/2021. This update added the first of the optional Expansion Packs (Crystal Smithing), as well as rules clarifications.
Revision 2, released on 5/24/2021. This update made balance adjustments, added a new combat feature, and revised the base character sheet.
Revision 1, released on 2/18/2021. This update added new masks and fixed various bugs, as well as introducing a printer-friendly version of the game document.
Version 1, released on 12/25/2020. The first release of the Heroes of the Stars system, which provided the baseline of what's needed to play out stories on the island of Okoto.
